Fan Fiction is exactly what it sounds like. These are all stories spun by your fellow Daria fans, incorporating the characters into a cornucopia of situations.

* * * Important Notice! * * *

Due to the huge number of stories that begin and are never finished, alt.lawndale.com is not accepting partial stories any more. If you want to submit a fanfic, you must finish it before you send it in. I'm sorry that I had to do this, since I know that partials are cool sometimes, but too often they never make it past Part One. I hope this will make alt.lawndale.com THE source for quality fan fiction.

If you currently have a story in progress, I'm not going to ex post facto you. You are allowed to finish your story in parts. And they will still be taken down if they are not updated after a month.

Authors, send in your profiles!

You can now view stories in two different ways: by author or by subject. If you have comments or questions about the stories, PLEASE send them to the authors, and not to me. The recent additions list has the titles and authors of fanfics added in the past few updates.

I am not responsible if you happen to read something that offends you. I am a champion of First Amendment rights, and leave it to the authors as to what they choose to put in their stories- be it sexuality, swearing, racial issues, or the like. Although most stories don't go any further than cursing, you have been warned. It's out of my hands now.

Happy Reading!

Fan Fiction Submission Guidelines

If you wrote a story that has Daria and/or any of the other characters as a major character in it, go ahead and send it in, with a title, an author name (or nickname), and an e-mail address and/or homepage address that can be posted for people to contact you. Oh, and be respectful- if you're going to use someone else's "new character" please ask them first.
I do not accept partial stories. Please only submit finished stories.
Please don't format your story with margins or hard returns at the end of each line. I know some sites like you to do that, but this isn't one of them. Also, please don't put returns between lines of your script-style stories. This makes a lot of extra work for me. I know a double-spaced story is easier to read. It will be double-spaced when posted. Also, if you could avoid sending pre-HTMLed files, that would be nice, since I have to reformat them when I get them.

Illustrations are welcome. You can do them yourself or have someone else do them if they want to. All you have to do is send them in. If you have a lot, zip or stuff them into an archive (if possible) and send them in. I can read most formats.

Okay, I've got it! Here's my story!
